See how you are. First you avoid answering the question I posed to you, then you provide no proof for what you say, then you show your lack of ability to search anything, and then you ask for a link which is something you cannot, nor do, provide.

Then, to top all that off, you once again lie about the Conservative notion of sex, and marriage while ignoring the point that you do not support abstinence taching to children.

How many lies are you willing to tell to support your flawed ideology (which, BTW, goes contrary to your RCC "beliefs" if you have any)?

Liberals lied in 1973 about the "backalley" abortion cases, and have never been able toprove it. Then they lied about the number of D&C cases, and eventually did admit to that after the ruling was made. Then they introduced sex education in the schools telling children that they were going to have sex since it was a childs "natural instinct" to do so. Then they handed out condoms, birth control pills (with or withot a parents permission, or knowledge), and then when the natural consequences of their actions occured (pregnancy) they began teaching the children that the babe in the womb was just a "parasite" (your words), a "blob of cells", or even an "alien" (again your words), and that it was not a living being worthy of life.

And then when it came to the actual abortion they want to take the child across State lines, or anywhere they please, to have the child get an abortion with, or without, a parents knowledge, or permission.

And, as if that was not bad enough, liberals like you want to blame Conservatives for the situation liberals have created.

And here are a few more facts you have chosen to ignore:

Women have died from an abortion

Women have been sterilized from abortions

Babies have been born alive due to a botched abortion, and then allowed to starve to death (something BO supports)

Women, about 30%, have suffered mental problems including, but not limited to, drug addiction, suicide, anxiety, etc., due to having an abortion.

It is certain that the D&C procedure kills a viable life, and it concerns liberals not.

So, no matter how you look at it, it is not the "health" of the mother that concerns you. It is the death of the babe in the womb that pleases you.

I heard from a source I've long forgotten that the octuplet lady's a bit crazy, obsessed with kids, etc.

I'm of the in-betweener camp as far as abortion goes. Personally anti-abortion, (I refuse to use the term pro-life) don't like the idea, think it's done a bit too frivolously but then again it's not my right to decide what a woman 3 states away from me gets to do with her embryo/fetus/baby/welfare ticket/bundle of joy/[insert dueling terms for unborn here]. The way I see it if a woman wants to get an abortion bad enough nothing this side of an act of God can stop her. Illegalizing murder hasn't made it stop happening. Illegalizing abortion nationwide makes zero sense whatsoever due to the sheer spectrum of opinions on the issue.

I can't officially state my final position until we figure out at exactly which point in the gestational period life begins. Until we find that out, all we're left with is our own opinions.

Greg's right... but it has nothing whatsoever to do with abortion, and hence shouldn't be on this abortion subforum. This woman intentionally impregnated herself artificially. It's not the same as a woman getting pregnant through living her life naturally.

Since she was on welfare to begin with, it's horrible of her to do this - it is the heights of shameful, selfish behavior.

However, it has nothing to do with abortion. Actually, if anything, "reproductive rights" may be the problem here. A good case can be made that a woman on welfare should not be legally allowed to artificially impregnate herself.

Look, I'm not sure I understood your standpoint, but I'd just like to comment that there are no excuses, no reasons, and no sugar-coated logic: abortion is KILLING!!! I mean, whaddya call burning your hand if you choose to? Burning your hand! This is simple common sense that I believe 2/3s of Americans lack for whatever reason! I really could care less if the kid's gonna die if she gives birth, [and the likelihood of that is extremely low], you don't get that intimate until you're married! It's a simple word called CONTROL! And not only that, I myself don't know a single person out there wouldn't have the heart to have some extreme regret about committing such a horrible crime. So, as far as a law goes to ill legalizing it, what good would it do? 60% of people in prison are accused of drug-related crimes and that's been illegal for years! In conclusion, for the people who would do it and have no regrets, YOU have a lot comin' when you die!
