I NEVER stated that, Marva. I stated that roughly 80% of the 50 million who were slain WOULD have become taxpayers. You assume they will be deadbeat liberals on our dole. I assume they will be productive conservatives, helping as would any other taxpayer.

The last figure I saw from reliable Associated Press tallies was 49 million, as of last year. The 50 million is approximate but used in good faith by most reliable sources.

Fifty million American citizens died for the convenience of someone too damn dumb to say no.

So in your mind the infant is not an American citizen if the pregnant mother is legally within American borders, or certain U.S. protectorates where citizenship is conferred upon birth. Even more broadly you are saying unborn infants have no rights at all. How strange that you who have been born are the one who asserts this. Who speaks for the unborn? Other citizens, who feel the unborn are citizens too.

How callously you disregard so many millions of innocent lives snuffed out, all to make life so much more convenient for bad behavior. It shows in this maniacal effort to unseat general estimates of 80% when in hard truth it will actually prove higher, the deeper you dig.

Compare the CDC birth and death statistics for number of stillborns, and the number with debilitating illnesses or incapacitating physical defects---the ones we all know will probably never work to full capacity (even ala Stephen Hawking). Work on the usual basis of units of 100,000, by state, by year, beginning in 1972 (the year Roe was foisted).

Those falling into the ineligible range I loosely pegged at 20% would actually be fewer than that, as medicine and prenatal care has greatly increased since 1972. I say the number of those born would be GREATER than 80% who could have gone on to become productive American taxpayers. You by your own words showed a belief these same children would have all been wards of our state.

Qtoo ... I've said this a long time ago. Conservatives should be happy as snot about abortion. It means there are fewer liberals to pollute the voting booths. Give it another decade or two and conservatives will be able to do whatever they want, including abolish Roe V Wade...because they'll outnumber liberals by massive margins.

Abortion is a legal medical procedure; therefore it cannot be defined legitimately as "murder," which is a specific class of crime. A thing cannot be both legal and illegal simultaneously: that's a paradox, and is not permitted by logic. Therefore abortion is not, and cannot be, murder.

Therefore, if a dictator shoots a foreigner (e.g. American) in his own country, that's not murder, since he's the one making the law. Roll Eyes
