They've caught some grief for the commercial too. If you listen through to the end you find out that they're pushing their diesel-engine technology because it's so wondrously green. The first part of the commercial is needling some of the over-the-top greenies to generate some controversy I suppose.

At the end you see a hot-looking Audi which, oh goodness!, is also nobly green because it has one of those diesels.

I know, they were doing so well up to that point, then almost as if to say, "we've caved" to the commies in a compromised move.
At least they are willing to call a spade a spade where the movement is concerned though.

If you are equating Communism with the wider availability of turbocharged direct injection diesels in the US auto market, then bring on the Communism.
