No problem, I alway put it in before go and fill my gas tanks.  This way it works for me year around.  As I use all my equipment it is nice to know I will have no starting problem. Even with the equipment that I mix oil with the gas I have no start up problems. I most of them I have used the same plug that came with the unit for over 6 years lol  I have plugs for them but they always start up and run with no problems.  But then I do not run my equipment with out it.  I like it when in three pulls or less what I am using will start right up and keep running with no problems.  Gold Dredge ya say lol you must be in some of God country also.

I've not used any additive in my mower or trimmer. The mower starts first pull every time. The trimmer is another story though. I like to never get that damn thing started. I may get a new trimmer this year.

Any suggestions? I have a small yard, so I'm thinking about electric. Less mess and no starting issues. I think they even have batter powered trimmers now.

I had both over the last 20 some years.  But I have alway had problems after about 6 months with electric powered trimmers.  Keep going back to gas with no problems.  I am also one who does not like power cords when doing yard work.

I just moved to a place that has 3 time the yard.  I also will be water 1hr in the A.M. hrs every day 10 months out of the year. So I will be going to a diesel mower as I will be cutting grass 10 months out of the year.

I'm not sure what type of lawn you have, but I've seen a lot of recommendations to not water that often and that much unless you have a high traffic lawn. The idea is that if you water too often and too much you'll end up with a fungus. Also, you'll have a shallow root system. I water heavily on Sun night/Mon am and lightly on Wed and Fri nights. That way the water soaks deep into the ground and my roots chase after it.

We just bought a rechargeable electric mower at the end of last season.  The maintenance is...um...plug it in.

I'm not sure it would work for my lawn. I have a really thick bermuda and it bogs down my 2 cycle lawn mower. I doubt an electric motor with 18 or 24 volts could beat through the tatch.

I too have Bermuda grass, and my girlfriend loaned me her electric mower, and I'm sold, the damn thing works better than my Honda Toro mower.
Oh yeah, that and weeds, is all that grows up here... Cry
