Secret..Use cream cheese instead of sour cream..Learned this years ago, but made it for Sunday dinner yesterday, so thought I would share. I must say, dinner was a hit.  Smiley

Get a top round steak and have them run it through the cuber for you at least once. Then slice into finger size pieces...Toss the meat in flour with salt and pepper...Then brown on both sides......

While you are doing this have a package of beefy onion dry soup soaking in about a cup and half of hot water...

After it is browned add a can of beef consomme, and the onion soup mixture, then let simmer for about 1 1/2 hours..or until meat is tender enough to cut easily..(If you need more liquid just add a bit of water)......

When that is done, add an 8 oz package of cream cheese, cut up in pieces, stirring occasionally. It takes a while for it to melt in......

When done, serve on egg noodles.

I'm not good with cooking times, I started mine yesterday at about 1 p.m. and we ate at 6:00......Of course I turned it off after the meat was done for about an hour, then turned it back on low to add the cream cheese.
Ooo and if it isn't quite thick enough, you can mix a bit of cornstarch with water to thicken...You don't need much.

Hope it turns out as well as mine does. Smiley
