But what is even worse, is the 5-4 split, one would think commonsense would prevail in a decision such as this, it should have been a 9-0 decision.

What is it with libs that think all they need to do is remove all implements of destruction, and humanity will suddenly stop hurting one another?

The only answer is control, without guns, we are all slaves, and that's what the left wants.

Yep, that's the problem, they only ruled on ownership of guns, not what goes in them.
That is what the left is focusing on now, tagging ammo with serial numbers, limiting amount purchased, and taxing the crap out of it.

Maybe that will be the next one to move to SCOTUS?

Jeez, can we bring this wake to an end please? The Supreme Court clarified some of the muddy water the state-level anti-gun successes have created and you guys are acting like your dog died.

Ol' Josh isn't happy about McDonald v. Chicago at all. He's doing his best to find something to be enthusiastic about and coming up dry.

Even though the Supreme Court's kicked the legal support out from under a lot of the anti-gun law that's been enacted over the years common sense will prevail, according to Josh, and the populace won't rush out and engage in a massive orgy of gun-buying. You see, according to Josh again, we don't need the law and it's a tragedy that the laws been struck down by the Supreme Court.

When you're winning you don't need to tie yourself in knots like that.
