Congrats, HarleyWoman.  I remember when I started doing that.  I've replaced a number of light fixtures now.  Electricity still freaks me out a bit.  Usually I just turn off the light switch.  One that I did was wired funny and turning off the light switch didn't do it.  Now it's the breaker every time!
