This is the second PS3 system I have gotten and they both got the yellow light of death....Sony will not fix it for free even though they are aware that it is their malfunction.....I'm very mad  Angry
I have however found a bandaid fix Tongue
Anyone else have this happen to them?

   I only owned game consoles when my kids were small the last one i had was a atari...thats how long ago it was lol

Never had a Sony product.  Nintendo is fabulous with their warranty and service.

Xbox is good ...if they know it is a manufacturing issue they fix it for free....Sony is much like Apple ...they take advantage of the fact that they know people will still buy their product.
