BLACK EYE PEAS AND SAUSAGE JAMBALAYA

Serves: 6
Prep Time: 10 Min
Cook Time: 30 Min

Ingredients
1 1/2 c uncooked rice
1 can(s) Bush's black-eye peas
1 lb link sausage, cut in bite size pieces
1 can beef broth
1/2 stk margarine
a half to a full bag of frozen Pictsweet chopped onion, bell pepper and celery (I think it may be called Seasoning Blend)--- to taste.

Combine all ingredients in rice cooker; turn on cooker. Come back 30 minutes later with your tossed salad and french bread for an enjoyable meal.

Delete the can of Black eyed peas and sausage. Add two pounds of peeled crawfish and instead of a half stick of butter, increase your butter to a stick of butter. Now you have a 2nd recipe for making another meal via the rice cooker.

Tony Chacherie's is a great creole seasoning to add to this dish too.
