Your "dream" jam session
Jun 24th, 2011 at 4:25am

You know those all-star jam sessions where various rock stars play on stage together? If you could create your own jam session with any living rock stars, who would you include?

Here's my lineup:

Vocals: Jon Bon Jovi
Vocals: Ann Wilson
Vocals: Mick Jagger
Guitar & vocals: Eric Clapton
Guitar & vocals: Bruce Springsteen
Guitar & vocals: Glenn Frey
Guitar & vocals: Joe Walsh
Guitar & vocals: Keith Richards
Guitar & vocals: Joan Jett
Guitar & vocals: Nancy Wilson
Guitar & vocals: John Mellencamp
Guitar & vocals: B.B. King
Guitar & vocals: Gary Rossington
Bass & vocals: Timothy Schmidt
Keyboards & vocals: Elton John
Keyboards & vocals: Steve Winwood
Drums & vocals: Ringo Starr
Drums & vocals: Don Henley
Drums & vocals: Phil Collins

Of course, I'd want an awesome horns section, too. Maybe the guys from Earth, Wind & Fire.

Well, the I'd start with me...what's the point of a jam session if I can't play along?

Atlanta Rhythm Section for horns. Or the guys backing the Hall and Oates Band at Farm Aid back in 1985, who in turn backed Mick Jagger and Tina Turner.

Mellencamp and Springsteen are unlistenable.

Very true. But then, you can play.

I would love go be one of the backup singers!
