The Bounty Hunter Character Progression video is pretty awesome. I believe that will be my character, if the game is any good.

Yeah they're ranting about it being a wow buster.

Mass Effect & Mass Effect 2 were both pretty fun games. This is building off of that engine to create a MMORPG.

I have no idea what kind of character I will play yet. It depends on what my wife and my buddy play. I'll play whatever compliments the group. If you get the game Rabbit, keep in touch about it. We can start characters on the same server and argue economics and politics WHILE destroying the Evil Empire. (Or impudent rebels...) Talk about productivity!

Spent the weekend playing in a weekend beta stress test. I played an unhealthy number of hours.

This game is very, very impressive indeed. The voice acting and single player experience as you progress at your own pace through the game actually blew me away. My wife and I continually commented to each other about how incredible the storyline and campaign was.

At around 12th level my interest started to wane as I am a big fan of instances. Questing is not really my thing I prefer the challenge of instances and the first instance (Black Talon) was really, really easy. It was impressive mind you. The group quest dialogue (each person rolls to see who responds and what direction you take the story) was amazing, and it led to me, my wife and a RL friend doing the instance three different ways (kill the captain, don't kill the captain etc). That alone was incredible. But there was too much story, not enough challenge for me.

But I kept with it so I could get to 15th and see what starship combat was like. Starship combat was so incredibly fun that it leveled me high enough to try the next full instance ... Hammer Station.

And wow...Hammer Station was challenging and incredibly fun. That's what I'm talking about. Suddenly group tactics and teamwork became important and useful.

I quit last night at 18th level ... eagerly anticipating my preordered copy of the game.

Our mains (currently) are Republic, but have a couple Sith toons to mess around with when people aren't online. Queshank
