Jesus Was A Conservative Republican

Jesus Was A Conservative Republican

I can see no credible evidence anywhere in the Bible in the Old or New Testament that God the Father, and Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are anything but Republican Conservatives.

I have gone item for item, NOT TAKING THINGS TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT, in my research on this. Of course I can give hundreds of examples. But here is just one or two to start with:

I can find no evidence that Jesus or the Disciples every healed anyone, or fed anyone, or benefited anyone who was not a Saved, Worthy and Righteous person. And Yes, I have looked at all the common predictable responses to this and found them fallacious.

Jesus also favored the Death Penalty, that is very clear, and he favored serving in the military. He favored our submitting ourselves to authority and held many other standard Conservative views.

All this leads me to believe Jesus would have voted, and voted Republican in virtually every case.

Everything that I have read tells me that Jesus was a thoughtful and intelligent man. He would therefore have voted independently on each issue, after carefully considering the substantive merits of each issue.

Well, Yes, but I feel that after He had looked at all the candidates and issues the He would have voted a straight Republican ticket as I do.

What a ridiculous point of view.  Nobody was "saved, worthy, and righteous, outside the salvation of Christ.  He came to those in need, not to those who had no need of him.

Where do you get your theology from?

There is no biblical support for Jesus indicated any of those things.

Jesus favors neither Republicans nor Democrats.  The Gospel transcends politics.

You've reversed what it means to be a Christian, which is being conformed to the likeness of Christ; not conforming Christ to your likeness.

You have just posted a perfect example of your Legalistic mentality. I rest my case. Every word above is Legalism taken in the context of a quote of mine you are responding to. You are such a Legalist, I find it even funny it is so extreme.

He is my friend, we tend to think alike. Of course He is the greater, so I conform myself to him. I was just surprised when, and as, I studied, how many things we thought alike on.

A) I am an ultra-Conservative and a Bible-believing Christian.

B) I oppose the death penalty, abortion and assisted suicide in any and all cases. I did serve four years in The USAF, and believe war is necessary in some few cases.

C)Were the five thousand Jesus fed saved? Were the ten lepers saved ? Was anyone in Jesus' lifetime saved ? Then what was the purpose of The Cross ?

D) I believe you support Gingrich. Is he an example of what Jesus would support ?

You and I share many values and ideas, but you're way off base on this !   Sad
