The thing I've always liked about Morrowind and its spin-offs has been the nonlinearity of play, where the game doesn't rope you into completing one preset quest after another but instead allows the player to act as his own agent, essentially for as long as he wants to (always being careful, though, not to "sever the thread of the prophecy" by killing the wrong NPC). On the downside, The Elder Scrolls has always had wretched graphics, making the game less than eye-appealing.

So: does it still have nonlinear play, and has Skyrim amped up on the old crappy graphics?
