CC I find it harder and harder to ignore some facts here,... The fact of the matter is that there is an inconsistency in who gets punished for foul language.... I'm not going to call out names, but there are some here that have been here for a long time before Tenny or Ren got here, and they've yet to be banned for their foul language...
If this forum has 2 sets of rules, one for the favorites and one for the non-insiders I can hardly blame someone for continuing their behavior until it is enforced all around....

With that said, we are all adults, most of us don't have a problem with profanity....most words get bleeped out and no one is posting porn... I'm just not seeing what the big deal is.

I'm still wondering about the "nonsense" bit. There are posters who post nonsense, some that borders on the verge of flamebait...

Yup and he just got rid of two of them, not sure what she's complaining about those two will be back any time now.

It's ultimately admin's forum.

Bring it to admin's attention if you don't want to call someone out publicly.

Some find more meaning in absurdity than in the grotesquely pointless verbiage that surrounds us like an ocean. Albert Camus said it best

"The absurd is born out of this confrontation between the human need and the unreasonable silence of the world."

The sort of thing you quoted is not what he's talking
about. But it appears that admin is attempting to give
you directions.

It's always been like that.  I know I probably could have been banned for foul language or personal attacks over the years but I think admin usually doesn't respond until someone or multiple people complain.

I believe that is what happens and if you come back, you will be on his radar for a while until he thinks you understand his limits.

Then the people who are complaining are hypocrites... they should complain about anyone that does it, not just the ones they dont like or agree with personally.... also I know Ren has complained about having foul sexual things said to her, and nothing was done about it cause it continued for a while....

I know this is admins forum... I am just giving my opinion like everyone else  Tongue

I've only been here a short while, so I can't hope to understand long-running conflicts.  But I will say:

First, being an admin is an impossible job.  No admin can please everyone.  This forum seems fairly free to me, and not dominated by any single point of view.  That is quite rare on the internet and a big reason why I have continued to log in here.

Second, who was banned?  Was it Simon Moon?  I just met him yesterday and he seemed OK to me, what do I know.

Third, what was the nature of the offending post?  I'm just being nosy asking this, but it would give me a better idea of the forum.
