Freedom and civil liberties are not the same. Freedom means that you need to ask no one for permission before you do something. Civil liberties is something bestowed by the government.

It's not FREE when you have given your children FREE board, shelter, clothing... etc for more than a decade without receiving a single thing of monetary value in return.
