We are sounding them out.

The writing isn't on the wall. We have no idea what the future will hold.

That's all the more reason to see what these guys are about.

Egypt is strategically important for many reasons. We can't wish away the challenges.

We need to make the bet informed decision about our approach as possible.

Part of being informed means listening to what they want to say to us. We don't have to believe it, but it's information that has to be taken into account.

Have you seen anything good come out of the Muslim Brotherhood?

To me this is like having the opportunity to sit down with Nazi Skinheads who say they want to open a store next to a synagogue.

I wouldn't vote for them. But it's not up to me. It's up to the Egyptian people.

Their elections weren't exactly fool proof but there weren't exactly rigged either. They legitimately made gains through the democratic process.

I don't like dealing with the Saudis either. But we've got to. And they aren't even elected.
