That's great to hear, all of Willard's faults haven't even hit mainstream yet. I wonder how Americans will feel about a Mormon. Grin

No, only about 30 have the amendments. I think Connecticut, California, New York, Vermont, Massachusetts and Hawaii allow gay marriage.

Obama tried catering to both sides. He said he personally approved it but he also believed in states rights (translation: not changing DOMA)

You can't count what you don't have. If you go by the solid states, it's 161 - 131 Obama.

Alright, the Frenchconnection will put this in perspective.

Has nobody considered the fact that the Oblamey campaign is so desperate that they had to trot out some non-economic issue to a) distract and b) rally the rabid base who is unmotivated currently?

This will backfire on him. Not because people will see him as a proper leader, but because he will be seen as doing anything to get reelected, except his job.
