I myself come here for challenging debate. If I wanted an echo chamber, I could go to any number of center-left-leaning sites, but it doesn't interest me. I have swung to both sides (rather extensively) in the past, and appreciate both sides.

I tip my hat to those conservatives here who respect the loyal opposition and enjoy having some actual discussion here. That's what keeps LNF great.

And to those of you who prefer insults, name-calling, ad-hom attacks, and general hippie-baiting, I give you Bama Beau's warning -- mind the tumbleweeds. There have been a number of excellent posters here on LNF who've left because of the rising level of unnecessary roughness.

Let's keep LNF awesome...
