The received wisdom on THIS Hollywood casting? Get some really, really, REALLY good insurance.

Moviemaker Robert Rodriguez has announced he's casting Charlie ("Winning!") Sheen and Mel (Rant-O-Matic) Gibson to the sequel to 2010's "Machete."

Sheen will play the U.S. President. No word on what Gibson will do in the "Machete Kills" sequel. The New York Post adds....

There's another Danny Trejo film floating around there called "Bad Ass," about an older man who just likes beating people up.

Trejo's BAD ASS is arriving today on DVD, and if you're lucky you can get it half-price in one of the Amazon Daily Specials.
