Helps both with their base. But helps Romney more in regards of voter turnout. Conservatives that were not warming to Romney will now support him. As will independents. The bill is too unpopular and now Obama has to explain why he lied about the mandate not being a tax not to mention the other taxes in the bill.

the Senate races become more important if the Democrats want to prevent the law being repealed.

As the people become informed as to what Obamacare is, and how it can be repealed, I have to believe that not only will Romney be elected, but the republicans will also take the house and senate. The only peaceful way to save the country.

The political fallout of this is'nt what concerns me. The kick to the groin individual liberty took today, does.

Exactly.  And things won't be any different with Romney or Obama.  Roberts is a right leaning justice, just like Romney, and look what happened...another kick to the balls.  Doesn't matter.

I think it helps Obama. An overturn would have been devastating to his campaign, making it look as if he had wasted his entire first year or so in office in a pointless, unconstitutional quest.

I don't see it helping Romney at all, certainly not as much as it helps Obama.

I agree.

Regardless of this ruling we've had a few years now to put in reps and senators who could overturn this and have not been able to do so.  This issue alone won't drive independents into Romney's camp.  This ruling "legitimized" Obamacare which is a bonus to Obama.
