These muffin type biscuits are light and fluffy and a tad crispy on the outside, but with a little melted butter brushed atop them, they are really really good, imo.

You may use this butter topping recipe on your hot biscuits

MELTED BUTTER TOPPING

2 Tbsp. of melted butter
1/4 - 1/8th tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp parsley flakes
Parmesan Cheese to taste (optional)

mix together and brush atop piping hot biscuits; sprinkle with optional Parmesan Cheese.

PS... I forgot to mention these muffin type biscuits are done by 27 minutes of cook time although they are not golden brown in color. If you want their hue to have a gold brown look, turn on your broiler and allow the tops to brown a minute. Be careful because you may easily burn them up if you walk away while browning. I like them as is.

Good tah know ~ thnx darlin'  Wink

Tonite, we had Shrimp Scampi, fried eggplant (Do not knock this til you try it. It is like a delicious delicacy, I kid you not. I had no idea I would love fried eggplant and everyone else does too.) and fresh fruit for supper.

Tomorrow night is Grilled Steak Supper. I am not sure what sides will be offered, but I suspect a Garden Salad and either some form of potatoes or my yummy macaroni and cheese -- not Kraft. Oh, garlic bread will be served too.

Easy Red Beans and Rice with Sausage. Plus we're having Simple Salad, and fresh peaches.

Last but not least, buttered toast will be included with tea and lemonade.

Sometimes, simple meals sure are nice-- if they taste good! Wink

I didnt cook today. I went to a place called Moms Kitchen the food was pretty good, in terms of having real food  vs Mcdonalds and such. I did make four candles and started melting the oils for lotion though...

Yum. Is that sauce pricey? I wonder how it compares to Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce. Ever tried Sweet Baby Rays?
