I bought some fresh peanuts and boiled them today. They were really delicious.

Tonight, I just finished baking a hen to make Chicken Gumbo tomorrow. A sick family member has requested it.

Gumbo? That's my cue!  Cheesy

Is it really spicy?

I made it for a sick family member and she doesn't like spicy hot. However it is well seasoned with spices. My son loves really spicy hot stuff... You can't add too many jalapenos or Tobasco to his dishes. He used a little extra Tabasco on his gumbo and was quite happy.

I love Seafood Gumbo best. I make that several times a year and it is about that time again.

I like really spicy foods , to the point that jalapenos barely register with me, unless they're fresh. I've also tried various Habanero sauces, which are awesome. Cool

Ouch! My boy could compete with you! I like spicy and my food is usually spicier than most cooks. It is not Habanero spicy though.

I was in Birmingham a few years ago and went to this interesting restaurant. I ordered an unusual burger... Buffalo Burger or Elk Burger? I can't recall which, but the waiter asked me if I would like some spicy Habanero pepper sauce on it. I asked for it on the side. When she brought my food, the sauce was very thick and green, but it really had a lovely aroma. With me having approximately a half cup of it in teh small bowl, I placed about half the sauce on the burger....

Oooooooooo WEEEEeeeeeee!! Talk about hot!! I had to rake most of that thick sauce off the burger, but gosh it was so delicious with that spicy sauce. Yum yum! It was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten.
