I didn't get the sense he was intentionally trying to start a

I'm just curious:
I go into Frenchconnection's thread "Prayers for the wife please!!!" where three times I offer my well wishes for the lady's full recovery without saying an unkind word to anyone, even in the brief exchange in which I explained why I could offer well-wishes but not prayers. Yet in a thread that should have focused on Frenchconnection's wife, I was directly and personally attacked, completely out of the blue and without any sort of provocation, by two different conservative posters, Chicken Sammich Harry and walkstall.

Is this sort of behavior now indicative of class and good breeding among modern conservatives? Or are there conservatives who do actually have enough genuine class and who do actually exhibit genuine good breeding, enough to condemn these two rank jackasses for the bad behavior they exhibited in a thread that should not have been dirtied by it? I'd be most interested to hear an opinion on that by Frenchconnection, but under the circumstances I'd obviously understand if he feels he has a few more important things to worry about.
