Just because some one doesn't vote for Romney doesn't make them a liberal. I have voted both D and R over the years. Makes me an independent. I vote for a person,not a party. Being a senior like many i can't vote for Romney. Bama may not do any better but he doesn't want to throw the seniors and disabled under the bus altho he has flip flopped on the subject and we have no idea if that is only to get the seniors vote. Guess we will find out soon enough. I for one do not believe much of what a politician says when running for office as each party tries to tell what thier locksteppers want to hear.

If there is one thing i have come to accept over the years is one never knows what they are getting until they are in office and then it is too late.

That how i feel and can't change it due to past experience.

Seems seniors have been thrown under the bus a long time ago.

The were taxed and made dependent on the state.

And now we inflate away what savings they have.

Social security, Medicare and so on are really bad policies that were never a good idea.

Whether we do anything about it or not these programs are toast. It is sort of a mathematical certainty.

And Obama's FED chairman is doing more to harm senior's living standards than anything pairing back entitlement programs would do.

The FED is the enemy of old and young, alike, but especially the old, who live on a fixed income.

What part dont you follow?

The way inflation harms those on a fixed income?

Or the way that these entitlement programs have raped whole generations of individuals?

Whole generations?

Inflation hurts every one but a president has no control over greed. In my 80 something years i have learned something also. Vote for your choice and i will take a chance and do the same. Follow that?

Yes. Whole generations.

People pay into systems all of their life and get hardly peanuts out of it.

The only reason these programs exist is because people are forced to participate in them.

And what does greed have to do with inflation? With the President's FED chairman?

And you sound kinda of snippy with your last sentence.

Lessee here -

Hussein filched $700 BILLION from already underfunded medicare money to fund his obamacare, and you're worried about ROMNEY throwing seniors under the bus?? He wants to use your medicare money to give healthcare to illegal alien invaders, whom he expects will eventually be scores of millions of new democrat voters. Further, in the face of gigantic debt, and the new entitlement of obamacare, more and more explicit rationing will creep into obamacare if it sticks. Eventually, it'll be like the UK, where seniors are told they're beyond the age limit (determined strictly for FINANCIAL, not MEDICAL reasons) to get a heart transplant (dialysis / new medicines / cancer treatment) and that you should just go home and drop dead and not make a fuss.
