A dilemma...
Oct 11th, 2012 at 9:32am

Should I watch the VP debate, and risk dying from excessive laughter, or should I watch game 5 of the Detroit-Oakland series?

Although I am a fanatical baseball fan... I'll be watching the debate (at least at first) because I want to see if Biden will bring up the fact that Ryan's running mate has decided that Ryan's budget doesn't exist, and never supported it.

I assume Joe has gone through the political equivalent of a Gordon Ramsey boot camp, to try and pre-empt any mistakes and gaffes. I expect him to outshine the President's first debate performance, but I doubt he'll be able to outperform the younger Ryan.

But (and please, tell me how I am wrong if you disagree) how is Ryan going to debate anything of substance when Romney just went out last debate and claimed to not even know about Ryan's budget.

Romney now agrees with parts of Obamacare, Dodd/Frank, increasing regulations, education funding, etc........ Everything Ryan is again.

Should be a deflection fest by both sides I assume....

I will be watching pre-recorded programs like Revolution, or Sons of Anarchy.
