If the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and its NPR and PBS subsidiaries cannot exist on donor support, without taxpayer help, they should all go the way of Air America.

Ending federal funding for big bird/PBS is not ending the existence of big bird/PBS, any more than ending federal funding for planned parenthood is ending its existence.

There is a massive difference between saying "the federal government will not pay for it" and "we will by executive decree make its very existence illegal". Of course, many will have you believe they are the same.

The way children and teens are turning out for the most part, I don’t think big bird is helping much.
