There is not usually a toolbar on an operating system (Windows, etc.).  Macs have the "Dock" which looks like a toolbar.  I think you're thinking about a toolbar that installs into the browser.  I don't use them.  Be careful.  Many contain malware.  Maybe someone here can recommend a good spell checker and where/how to get and install it.

(I haven't noticed that your spelling is particularly bad, though.)

Really?

I thought the toolbar is the bar with Favorites/Bookmarks

I have all the sites I visit listed in the toolbar

Both IE and Firefox, come with a toolbar

unless our definition of toolbars are different?

Okay...so you're talking about browsers.  A Dell is a kind of computer, not a browser.  It's not "part of the computer"; it's "part of the browser."  Which browser are you using?

Yep

I would guess shes using Windows explorer. I was recently back to using IE and was surprised there was no spell check in the forums so I had to install an addon

I use Firefox which has a built in spell check

Neither one has a toolbar icon. All I could ever find is a right click feature to turn it on and off with

You probably could find a way to get it onto the toolbar if you dinked around long enough?

I like it hidden
