So does it work both ways ? Or, is it alright for you leftists  to keep chipping away at our rights to freedom of religion, as you try to push us into the churches and seal the doors shut?    Roll Eyes

It should work both ways.

No one should be able to use the law to exclude those peaceful and consensual acts of their neighbors.

"In the first place, the dichotomy between "theoretical" and "practical" is a false one. In economics, all arguments are theoretical. And, since economics discusses the real world, these theoretical arguments are by their nature "practical" ones as well." M Rothbard

So, I have no right to contend in the public square for my values to be encoded into law or to be recognized in the culture simply because you consider it drama ?  Huh

Once again, you have the right. But if its an eye sore about something not important (Gay marriage for example) then it should be saved for the church. Its just as annoying as the homo's preaching it.

Let them see the horrors of  marriage. It won't effect your "after life". You still go to heaven.  Smiley

Really now? What have I supported that is "pushing you into the churches and sealing the doors shut?" I can't wait to hear this one.

BTW, do you believe Christian businesses have a right to litigate and lobby for laws on conscience ?

I think they shouldn't, but as for the right. I'm not sure I need more from the debate on this.

No, actually people are saying you have no right to violate the rights and privileges of others through law because of your religious fundamentalism.

Smiley Great point!

This was meant for leftists in general, it was not personal. That said, here's some examples from this thread of what I mean :
"Leave religion in the same place as gay sex. At home!  Smiley

Or a church were both do happen."
                            and

"Im not saying it should be a law. You have the right. But we don't need the drama. Get a life and stop caring about homo's. Thank Jesus when ever you want and go about your day. "
                             and

"Once again, you have the right. But if its an eye sore about something not important (Gay marriage for example) then it should be saved for the church. Its just as annoying as the homo's preaching it.

Let them see the horrors of  marriage. It won't effect your "after life". You still go to heaven.  Smiley "

And you know full well that any law violates someone's "rights". The question is who's ox gets gored, and does it meet the Constitutional test

Let a man meet a she-bear robbed of her cubs rather than a fool in his folly. Proverbs 17:12 (ESV)
