It's not healthy to align with any group simply because of the name or because they supposedly align with the like minded. Or worse because they are the opposite to the other side.

Wet towel time!

Super broken record time too as I'm sure many of you have heard me spit this game before. There will never ever forever never be a third party in our retarded system of voting for the executive.

Commonly called 'First Past the Post' or 'Winner Takes All' system of voting. it means the executive office holder can technically win by ONE damn vote. 49.999999% of the country can be sht out of luck. This leads t voting against the person we hate the most and not idealistically.

It ensures there will only be two parties in America, the winners and the losers. Good luck with that third party that has no practical chance in hell and will likely only sap votes from the party that actually has a chance at winning. But hey, you voted idealistically, with your heart and you can sleep better at night knowing you've just spoiled the election.

F U NADER!!!!!

Still pissed at that guy.

Actually, interesting you bring this up.  Had a thread in mind but can flesh out my thoughts here.

Want to truly experience freedom?  Ultimate and total American freedom?  Would you like to be come lighter than air?  Inconsequential and unbearable in our lightness of being?  Become an atheist.

I literally prance through life, not a care in the world besides dying horribly in some industrial machinery accident, or dying horribly in a car crash or dying horribly to an insane murderer.  other than that, atheism is probably the least stressful ways to live.

Being without sin has it's advantages and there's no easier way to become with out sin than atheism.   Tongue

Figure I'll die smiling at the ripe old age of 100ish, surrounded by big booty hookers.  You'll be surrounded by some droning priest.  Boring.

Enjoy that heart disease worrying about your coming eternal punishment.  Christians know damn well they've done stuff that's sending their ass straight to hell.  What a way to live!   Grin

I think you're confusing Christians with Mormons who believe they have to work their way into Heaven....Christians believe what the Bible teaches.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8)

"Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints pray and worship in the name of Jesus Christ. He is the center of our faith and the head of our Church. The Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ and witnesses of His divinity, His life, and His Atonement.

http://www.mormon.org/faq/mormon-christian

They are trying really hard though, that was just mean!

Say what you will about atheists but leave the Mormons alone!   Cry
