Also, the electorate will be dramatically different in 2016 compared to 2010.

How much more different will it be than 2014?

Voter ID laws do not disenfranchise. Democrats do not explain how voter ID laws disenfranchise. They merely make the claim.

Democrats do explain how voter ID laws disenfranchise. Otherwise eligible potential voters without what is defined as acceptable ID are not able to vote. There are many people without those acceptable IDs and for whom there are roadblocks to getting the IDs. They were previously eligible to vote, now they aren't. That is disenfranchisement. You apparently reject that explanation. What a surprise.

I wonder if these people you're describing predominantly belong to a certain demographic.

The only difference will be the participation of unreliable voters, which happens every two years. More important is where the votes are, i.e., Democratic leaning states or Republican leaning states. As for whether the GOP can win in 2016, it depends on whether or not any of the lesser leaning Democratic states can be flipped into the GOP column.

They're anti-science, against women's and minority rights, and generally wish to restrict access to the ballot box because they can't win elections on policy or ideas.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Hey Wad, .. You really do subscribe to all that progressive liberal socialist democrat party demagoguery shit, don't you?   Grin

That is why I often refer to that party as the 'demoncrap party', and it earned that name.

Your words below:

''They're anti-science, against women's and minority rights, and generally wish to restrict access to the ballot box because they can't win elections on policy or ideas.''

All lies, just typical demoncrap party word-speak ..

1. Not anti-science, they just don't like the lies since the government helps to fund science at colleges and universities, and science oftentimes is used to help promote government edicts, which in turn helps to steal more money from the private job sector, which WILL happen if the LIE and HOAX about global warming continues to be promoted.

2. Do women and minorities have MORE rights? Are they anymore or any less special than anybody else, you moron? -- all have the same constitutional rights.

3. Restricting the ballot box? -- no, they just want to make sure that only those eligible to vote are permitted to vote, whereas the demoncraps would have ineligible people vote IF they could get away with it, including illegal aliens.

Democrat voters have no problem presenting honest I.D. when they get their welfare, their food-stamps, their driver's licenses, buying their alcohol, getting their section 8 housing, and buying tobacco products --- so, why do they scream RACISM and VOTER SUPPRESSION when it's time to show their I.D. to vote?   Grin  Grin  Grin

ANSWER = because, the demoncrap party wants to ENCOURAGE those not eligible to vote, to go ahead and vote, .. you moron!

You progressive liberal demoncrap voters are so easy to bullshit. Just look at how your leaders continually lie to you, and you swallow their liberal socialist shit. -- it's too funny!   Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin

Republicans will have trouble winning the presidency because right now it appears THE issue for 2016 is income disparity. While neither party is completely clean on this one, Republicans have no record to stand on.

This thread is important because it might serve as evidence that perhaps the country has become wrapped up in bullshit partisan politics while our political and financial elite take everything not nailed down.

Whoever is elected in 2016 will in all likelihood respond to any financial crisis which occurs due to the bursting of the current super-bubble with quantitative easing, stimulus spending, ZIRP, and chucking bombs at some less developed nation.

That is for sure. That is definite. All else is part of the theater production they're putting on for our pleasure, so we can choose teams and pretend like we have a voice in the direction of the country.

We are talking about this government, aren't we?  If we were any other kind of government like China or NK, we would not even be having this discussion because you would not even be allowed to own a gun.
