So what do you think the reasons are?

The high likelihood that the 2016 GOP Primaries will be more bitterly contested than the 2016 Democratic Primaries. The current disadvantage for Republicans in the number of Republican-leaning states versus Democratic-leaning states in relation to the electoral college. The current trends of minority voters that tend to vote Democratic increasing in population growth compared to previous decades. Etc etc.

Glad you finally acknowledged what I've been saying since page 1.

Sometimes what matters is the math, not the issues, particularly some of the issues you raised in the OP. When people are worried about jobs, their children's education, etc., they're probably not going to be too worried about who believes in climate change. And the specific set of issues you bring up only really appeal to certain subsets of voters, many of whom are already in the Democratic camp.

Unless the GOP and it's nominee can flip of these lean Democratic states, then they're probably not going to win.

Here is a recent Washington Post article on the topic.

They country is changing with the younger generation taking charge (Us 90's generation). Republicans focus to much on living in the past and religion. That's going to hurt until the young republicans run, and know what civilized America wants.

It is anticipated that whoever wins CO, FL, OH and VA in 2016 will be the 45th President. President Bush (43) won those states in 2000 and 2004. President Obama won them in 2008†and 2012.

"The first provision extends the Federal Government's authority to borrow funds. This is an action that we just take to prevent the Government from defaulting on its obligations, and I have no objection whatsoever to doing so. In short, this extension of the debt limit is necessary and unavoidable." -- President Reagan

They're anti-science, against women's and minority rights, and generally wish to restrict access to the ballot box because they can't win elections on policy or ideas.

So you would be willing to donate $1000 to charity if a republican happened to win the next presidential election?

How does what I donate to charity have to do with this thread.  I asked you once where are you going with this.  Answer the question.
