First, I never said that there was "order in the universe", whatever that means.

Second, ask questions that are relevant and specific to the thread or at the very least relevant to science in general or I'll remove your posts.

I won't tolerate any more spamming on your part.

I am spamming?

First time I have been accused of that here on any of the forums.*

At any rate, you may say I am not thinking scientifically, but you are not thinking philosophically.

You are thinking only like an engineer, describing the way (you believe) things are without any thought as to why they are that way.

You said this:

yet the laws governing a great number of molecules (billions of billions of them) are quite predictable.

and this:

yet the rate of mutation over a reasonably long period, (more than a hundred thousand years) is quite predictable and quasi- constant.

You use the words "law" and "predictable," these words imply order.

So, why is there order in the Universe?  Why are there laws?  Where is there predictability?

*Besides, one would think you would want posts in this dungeon of the LNF.

The funny thing is that you didn't understand a word that I said. It's not because there is order that the rate of mutations is almost constant and/or there are laws governing great numbers of molecules in a gas. Quite the contrary, it's because these phenomena are chaotic and therefore completely random!!

There is a TV show you may have heard of "Law and Order."

Law implies order.

You say that laws emerge out of chaos: ok, this is the same thing as saying order emerges out of chaos.

Why does order emerge out of chaos?

Because it's shown that it's what happens statistically.

You obviously don't understand any of this, either by willful ignorance or because you lack the intellectual wherewithal to deal with these notions, either way, your case is desperate and this is not the religion forum. If you are neither wise enough nor respectuous enough to abide by that then I'll have to remind you in a more drastic way.

What you perceive as an "ordered" universe is simply a universe less entropic than at previous points in time... Remember that the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics really has nothing to do with evolution..

To remember that he'd have had to have known it in the first place.
