Feinstein may want that but she's neither powerful nor persuasive.. Seriously .. you have to have more than that.. .

A senior senator wants something done, and you brush it off as if unimportant. But if an unknown county commissioner from Arkansas says something wacky about their Christian beliefs, you would see a serious and sinister threat.

What was I thinking..  Hundreds of thousands of Christians aren't nearly as influential as a single liberal senator..

She doesn't have the support of hundreds of thousands or perhaps millions that agree with her?

Right. Definitely. Because what political power do Senators have? There are like 100 of them or something!

100 is far too few to have any impact.

Roll Eyes

Most states already have laws on the books that if commit a crime with a gun you face bigger charges.

Assault and rob someone with your hands and you will have a far more lenient sentence than robbing someone at gunpoint.

No, they don't target a gun, but target a "weapon".

Where did you get the notion that anyone was "going after the legal gun owners"?

Why are my 30 round magazines illegal in some states? Why is some ammunition illegal in some states? Why cant I carry my gun on school property? Why cant I sit at a bar with friends while I have my gun on me? I am not a criminal.
Why isnt my permit to carry like my drivers license? Good in every state?

Typical liberal argument.  Six pages and still haven't even attempted to answer.  Six pages of "look at the shiny object over here".

Liberals = the only group that will celebrate getting nothing done.

If someone illegally uses a gun as a weapon they do receive extra punishment.

If someone legally uses a gun as a weapon, like in the case of self defense they don't receive any punishment.

Not sure what your problem here is.
