So who watched last night's episode, which marked the start of the season's second half?

All I can say is, WOW!

It was full of mark-out moments that had me cheering: The group of Saviors getting blown to bits. Glenn getting rescued by Sasha and Abraham. The stinkin' Wolf getting shot by Carol. And of course the fierce savagery of the entire group against the zombie horde. Well done!

I was kinda shocked to see little Sam being devoured by the walkers, even though I knew he was going to die. And I felt sick when Jesse died. Her character had lots of potential. And that image of poor Carl with his eye shot out...just wow.

It was great to see the Alexandrians stepping up. And Gabriel and Eugene finally got some courage.

Welcome back, TWD!

Great episode.  I won't miss Jesse's 2 whiney sons, but it's too bad she's gone.

Were you upset that they showed Sam being devoured by the walkers? That scene is pretty controversial around the Internet now. People are saying it went too far.

I was kind of shocked when I saw it. They never showed a child being bitten before. (In Season 2, we know Sophia became zombie chow, but they never showed it.)

I felt sorry for Sam and Jesse. Sam was just a scared little kid, he couldn't help but be scared. His older brother, though, I'm glad he got Michonne'd. Lil' punk.

Yeah, I'm surprised they showed Sam being taken by the walkers. It didn't seem too graphic though.

So who's this mischievous new character?  Is Rick getting too soft and careless?
Rick and Michonne are getting it on.
I enjoyed this episode, it had some light and comedic moments.

Well, I won't give away spoilers, but I will say that this "Jesus" becomes a *VERY* important character in the comic book version.

I also enjoyed the episode. I really like the bond between Daryl and Rick. And the Rick-Michonne pairing is a welcome development (and another departure from the comic books).

Seems he'd be a good asset to the group.  A very slippery character.  Smiley

Wow. By killing the group of Saviors (in their sleep, no less!) Rick and his crew have crossed the point of no return. I was shaking when I saw how much it tore up Glenn inside to put the knife through the guy's head. My heart ached for him.

But I think I would have done the same thing. These Saviors are bad people, and the Alexandrians have to do what it takes to survive. Glenn has Maggie and their child to think about.

The scary thing is, the Saviors may be too much for even Rick and the gang to handle.

It seems they were getting a bit cocky..I got a bad feeling about Maggie.  One of my theories a while back was that unlike the comic series they would kill off Maggie instead of Glen.
Negan is going to make a very big and brutal entrance in the last episode of the season.  The killing of a pregnant Maggie would make quite an impact.

Holy crap, that would be the most evil thing ever done on TV. Sad

But now that you bring it up, I can actually see that happening. That would instantly make Negan one of the most hated characters ever.

Some people say that Negan has to kill Glenn because it is one of the most iconic moments in the series' history, and no one will want to mess with that.

A lot of people are also saying that Daryl will be the one killed. Norman Reedus is set to star in another AMC show later on. (But I'm not sure that would preclude him from being in both series. It's not like "Walking Dead" has a 25-episode season like the regular networks have.)

I'm dreading that season finale. I don't want Daryl, Glenn or Maggie to die.

And can you believe Abraham left Rosita because he has the hots for Sasha? Is he crazy?!?
