Saw that yesterday.  I actually liked it.  It brings back a lot of stuff from the original 1977 version.  It is a bit disconcerting to see Peter Cushing as Grand Moff Tarkin in the film since he's been dead over 20 years.  Hey, CGI can do anything.  Catch the end with... well, I won't spoil it for you.  Although the "hero" in the film reminds me of the main character in "The Princess Bride".  ("My name is Diego Montoya....  You killed my father...")

Is this part of the third trilogy, or a spin-off?

How many Star Wars trilogies will there be?

I saw most of the first trilogy on DVD. Haven't seen a Star Wars movie since.

This one is actually "Star Wars 3.5".  It's slotted between "Revenge of the Sith" and "A New Hope" (The original Star Wars).  I am no fan of the three newer episodes made after the three original ones.  Far too cartoonish to suit me but this latest one is pretty good.
