I suggest you post the correct information from the start.

I don't pretend to know all.

You didn't answer my question.

Your quote:

Quote:
Of what benefit is the regulation, enacted without congressional approval, to anyone?

That is false.

As for the benefit:

Quote:
Rep. Maxine Waters, D-California, ranking member of the House Committee on Financial Services, responded to Huizenga's resolution, saying in a statement, "the American people have a right to know where Big Oil is drilling and who they're paying, especially if it involves countries that have been hostile to the United States."

Waters specifically said companies like ExxonMobil would benefit, citing the company's former CEO, Rex Tillerson, who is President Donald Trump's nominee for secretary of state.

"Striking Section 1504 would mean that Big Oil companies like ExxonMobil would be able to continue their questionable dealings with corrupt parties such as Vladimir Putin and Russia," Waters said.

No, you didn't. The entirety of our conversation since I asked the question has been over the fact that I made a mistake based on your lack of detail.

Answer my question, and stop lying and saying you answered my question. You aren't smart enough to pull this off.

What business is it for the feds to know when and where a private business is paying money to?

(Yes, I know that sentence is kinda jumbled up grammatically.)

Quote:
Jodi Vittori, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel who also teaches courses in terrorism finance at Georgetown University and worked on counter-corruption efforts for NATO, said repealing this rule could impact US national security.
Vittori said "a lot" of the money the gas and oil industry pays to many poor or fragile countries for access to their natural resources "gets diverted to other places out of these slush funds they can be going to hackers that are hacking political parties. It could be going to terrorists, insurgents, warlords, criminals, wherever these authoritarian governments or the cronies who have access to their money choose to divert it.

You did ask.

Yeah, the deletion of a rule put into effect last June will surely cause the world to end posthaste.

So... Archie...

Then the EXXON guy (Rex Tillerson) and Putin benefit from this?  Right?

Not me..

Greg

You have enough fuel right. Until Trump makes us energy independent you have what you have. And gas should be less than 2 bucks a gallon. The oil companies have to pay, to have enough product to make a profit. If other countries get paid by the oil companies, what do you care? Not your money. Your state makes more profit per gallon than the oil company. You know that right?

But this is America. Private companies should not have to report how they spend their money. If it is discovered that they are willfully supporting the enemy, then the government can act.
