I've seen them both multiple times and as I'm sitting here, I don't want or need to watch them again. However, you are correct, in that if they pop up unexpectedly, I can't turn them off. I fall willingly and enjoyably into their gravitational pull.

The original Nutty Professor. Jerry Lewis was genius in that film.

Also, any Peter Sellers Clouseau flick. He was inimitable.

National Lampoons Vacations and Great outdoors was good too.
