Everyone I know who retired looks 3 years younger straight away,  or dropped dead.

Under Capitalism, Man exploits Man.

Under Communism, it's the exact opposite.

I plan to retire when I am fifty. It's still quite a while away. It's ok though since I like my job.

There are still the children in congress who see their life's work to be destroying the middle class.

I quit working 20 years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and not expected to live five years.  I have enjoyed and been thankful for every day since.  mr crepe retired and went to work part-time  6 or 7 years ago.  In 2013 I had the "life altering" automobile accident that really changed our lives dramatically.  He had to totally retire from working and assume the duties of chief cook and bottle washer.

None of us has any idea of what lies ahead for our lives.  Make long-term goals, but don't put off things that you really want to do, if you can afford not to.  Please enjoy every day that you have.  There are so many beautiful sunrises.  Enjoy them.  Also enjoy the rain, though!

You have to make the decision, possibly with the help of your family.   Just enjoy whatever you decide.

Given the current climate.. is now a good time to retire.  I'm comfortable. Secure. I've put in years and still feel like I something to offer but retiring now would free up some time that I could put towards other endeavors..

How'bout you.?.. Considering retiring?

Ive thought about it numerous times. You? No you shouldn't. You're an important left wing member.

On a serious note, you're talking about retiring in you personal life or here?

If personal life, its up to you and good luck on the decision making you happy.
