I personally don't either but I think people wanted an outsider in rather then another establisment rep.

I dunno.  I think John Kasich would have won by a larger margin compared to Trump.  An objective analysis would show he really just barely won.  (Save me the mathematical exercise on the electoral vote, please.  Look at the margins by which he won the electoral votes in the states he won.)

All Trump had going for him was he wasn't Hillary.  The main thing she had going for her was she wasn't Trump.  Trump simply hijacked the nomination by being a button pusher.  One that probably will lose no sleep over not delivering.  Or over playing golf a lot more than he accused the Kenyan of playing.  He has no shame.  He is a paranoid, impulsive, narcissistic sociopath completely lacking in shame and self awareness.  And the sumbitch got elected not in spite of that but because of that.

And I am glad.  I am having so much fun!

I suspect it's as temporary as any other Presidency.  Probably 8 years tops.

If he is found to have done anything illegal, he had better be impeached, unless you want to see all hell break loose.

BTW, if he is found guilty, would you want a criminal as a president.  Are you that partisan that you would want your president to be a crook as long as he is a republican.

The people that voted for Trump, which is a minority of the populace, seem to agree with how he's been handling things.  You're going to have to convince those in the rust belt states that he's betraying their interests and I have yet to see anything to suggest that he's not attempting to do what he promised.

Blaming the Russians, harping on Obamacare, etc,  is a lost cause, this stuff was out there before the election and he still won.  Being hypocrites and locking down the government or trying to mire him in lawsuits isn't going to win.  You look like you're throwing a tantrum.

The left still hasn't learned it's lesson.  You need to move away from the identity politics, you need to move away from the social nonsense and focus on the things that matter.  And that is jobs and the economy.  The Dems won't win unless they can legitimately convince people that they will be better for the economy than Trump.

Polling a bunch of Huffington Post people isn't going to cut it.

.

When the jobs don't come and the healthcare gets worse, that will be all the convincing they will need.  But my bet is the he will not even run a 2nd term.  He really does not like being president.  He actually has to work.
