The origins start with Abraham and his faithfulness to God and then it deviates from the true God.  Jews and Muslims do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah, God in the flesh.
So you're saying by definition if your Abrahamic religion does not include a messiah who was god in the flesh, literally god on earth, then you don't get to call your religion true? So it's this extra fleshy god on earth that makes Christianity true? Do I have that right? And I'm guessing then that Jesus himself, who was a Jew, at some point disowned Judaism?

Do most Christians, Jews, and Muslims believe that they all believe in the same god? I've heard it expressed as all three religions believe in the same Abrahamic god. Is this true?

I believe the medieval view of Islam was that, rather than being a separate religion from Christianity it was more akin to a Christian heresy.

This suggests that medieval Christians saw Muslims as believing in the same God as Christians, but believing the wrong things about that God.

Let me ask you a question, what do you believe in and what faith, if any, do you practice?

Sure, but answer my question first. Seems like an arbitrary thing to just say because your guy apparently deemed it necessary to appear on earth that THAT means your religion is the true one. Why isn't that something that disqualifies it? If She had to take the form of an earthling, she must have screwed something up bad, and therefore can't be THE god.

The "Christians" had no moral qualms about that.

They used to say (when confronted with a situation where it was difficult to tell the heretics from the rest of the population): "Kill them all, let god will sort them out" or something to that effect.

I think I've noticed a pattern. Seawolf stops replying to my posts once I've refered to his god as She. Interesting.

Seawolf believes that god not only is a HE but also that he's a macho he. The kind that likes women to stay home while the man of the house does all the important things...

Let's start with you, what religion do you claim or church do you attend?  Fill me in with who you are and your theology, give me some backgound about who you are.  I have suspicions but am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt if you are being honestly sincere. So please, fill me in about yourself.
