Can you name one person who paid the IRS more than he owed because he trusted the government to put his money to good use?

I imagine most liberals. They believe government can do no wrong.

I heard about a guy that did this and his family had him committed to an insane asylum! (I also heard that his own attorney agreed that an insanity defense was the best strategy because it would be one that the Judge and everyone else would understand and agree with, without any argument)

Common sense tells you that anyone who would intentionally pay more than he owes to the IRS must be crazy!

DAMN so the Trump kids are gonna have dad committed  Grin

"A spokesman for the billionaire-president, whose net worth Forbes estimates is $3.7 billion, told a newspaper in February he was going to give his salary back to the Department of Treasury or donate it to charity.
Similar questions remain over the president's pledge to "donate all profits from foreign governments' patronage of his hotels and similar businesses" to the Treasury Department.

In January, his attorney Sherri Dillon said that to avoid concerns that his family's vast business holdings would pose a conflict of interest, he would donate all profits from foreign government payments from his hotels to the United States Treasury."

But doesn't that mean that Trump will pay less because it raises his donations that are non-taxable, if you donate a certain percentage of your income.  He donates all of his salary income.

Not as dumb as your reply.  But that's normal for you.
