The Dixie Chicks will be playing at my inauguration,
which is starting to look more and more like a coronation,
tomorrow night. Although I'm not a big fan of clod hopping
and cousin dating, I am a big fan of these three brave women.

No, that honor was reserved for the Dalai Lama.

We are also expecting Oprah Winfrey, Pope Francis,
President Barack Obama, President Elect Hillary Clinton,
Jesse Williams, Keith Olbermann, the ghost of Patrice Lumumba,
and as a totally new annoncement being made for the first time
anywhere right here on this forum, Tom Morello will address the crowd
before a tight 40 minute set by Rage Against the Machine who are
reuniting just for this event. It promises to be the biggest thing ever.

And now you can tell your grandkids that you were a part of it!

For those of you wanting to attend the inauguration,
which some are saying is much more like a coronation,
all you have to do is go outside anytime today, take a
couple of deep breaths, thank your lucky stars for the
miracle that brought us all to this place and time, and
try to think clearly about life and your place in the plan.

That way, you'll at least be here in spirit.

Well, it's official . . . I am your forever leader, President,
commandant, sensei, eminence, skipper, head honcho,
top dog, big cheese, bodhisattva, Brahma, mama, papa
and King Kong ding dong far gone too long too strong LNF'er.

I was surprised at the swearing in ceremony. I thought the
oath of office was to administered by President Obama, but
as I was placing my hand on my first edition copy of the
classic Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail, up stepped
First Lady Michelle Obama to do the honors. It was a thrill
and a privilege, and we talked about her becoming Nancy
Pelosi's VP should the Democrats kick the illegitimati out of
the WH in 2018. She said she would give it some thought.

Anyway, a good time was had by all. Harry got drunk and
Rabbit showed up for a couple minutes before disappearing
back into a hole in the lawn. I think at least a couple of you
had to have seen him here today. Shiva sent some chocolate
and HarleyWoman sent flowers. Some of the kids ran races
around Jasmine. Fiddler refused to play when Joe Bonamassa
asked him on stage, but MFA went up and played along on a
couple. People were saying that this was the biggest event ever,
and that there had to be five million people there if there was
a thousand. And before I forget, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog
was hilarious. I think he might have stole the show, even after
he peed on Bono's leg. Even Bono had to laugh. It was that funny.

Anyway, thanks to everyone  who made this possible by nominating
and then voting for me, some of you several times. You know who you are
but I won't mention you by name in case you know who is watching.

And again, as always . . . TYFYS!

Viva El Presidente!

One jarring note, some parents are concerned about their kiddies coming home exhausted and limping.

I think the fake news right wing media might be sniffing around the story.

Viva El Presidente!

Viva El Commandante!

Two things:

First, most of the parents' complaints weren't that their kids came
home limping, but rather that they came home smelling of Spam.

Second, we are about to announce a sister site to LNF in Spanish,
and we are looking for suggestions as to a name for the place.
Just between you and me, your name has already been mentioned
as the lead contender for that new forum's first Nuevo Camaro award.

So trumP is not likely to make it through the midterms,
and if he is illegitimate (he is), then Pence is as well,
meaning that they both will have to go. So my question
is this: being the newly elected and crowned President
of what is now the most popular forum in the world,
where do I stand in the line of succession as POTUS?

I've got to be in the Top Five somewhere.

From the desk of the President:

As a service to the members of the most popular political forum
in the history of the Internet world universe, I have started a
countdown clock which displays the number of days until the
2018 midterms, which will also serve as a countdown clock to
the maximum number of days that the trumPs have left in the WH.

No need to thank me. This is what the President does.

Straight from the Desk of the President:

I've been fortunate enough to have met and/or spoken with
more than my fair share of celebrities over the years, but this
past Sunday evening I experienced the thrill of a lifetime when
I not only got to attend a concert by Amadou et Mariam, but when
I was also invited to meet them and their band backstage after
the concert. My French was more than a little rusty, so I had an
interpreter with me, but after spending a quarter hour or so with
the band, I was ushered into a private meeting room where I was
allowed about five minutes and a picture with two of my musical
idols. I've spent the past day and a half basking in the memory of
the event. I would post the picture, but my Secret Service people
have warned me against it. What a great finale to my inauguration
which many people are saying was much more like a coronation.
