But.... But....

Quote:
Donald Trump Jr. just contradicted a whole bunch of White House denials of Russian contacts

The news, which was first reported by the New York Times, represents the most direct suggestion to date of possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, and it is the first indication that someone from President Trump's inner circle met with Russians during the campaign. Trump Jr. also brought then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Trump's son-in-law and now-top White House adviser Jared Kushner to the meeting.

But the information isn't just troubling because it suggests the Trump campaign sought out the help of Russians to win the presidency. It also contradicts a number of claims made by the White House, the campaign and Trump Jr. himself — claims made as recently as this weekend. For an administration and campaign that have repeatedly denied contact with Russians and had their denials blow up in their faces, it's yet another dubious chapter.

It won't be collusion that takes them down, it will be money laundering from before the campaign was even an itch in daddy's pants. Watch.

Greggy is trying so hard .. just gotta get Trump on something, on anything.   Grin

I'm really enjoying the liberal news media's excitement when they believe they got the goods on Trump, .. and that America is going to rebel against Trump and demand his impeachment! -- That filthy liberal news media getting desperate, eh?   Grin

Opposition research and digging up political dirt is not against the law, no matter where you get it from, and you can bet that Obama's campaign, Hillary's campaign, Trump's and anybody else's campaign uses it.

In addition, Obama was working against Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu, and Obama wanted him to get defeated. It might be dirty, but, it's not illegal. -- Obama didn't succeed, and Netanyahu won reelection.

Actually Stuey, it is illegal in certain circumstances involving foriegn nationals.

Quote:
These laws prohibit anyone from “soliciting” or “accepting” any campaign contribution from a foreign national or a foreign government.

“No person shall knowingly solicit, accept, or receive from a foreign national any contribution or donation…,” according to 11 CFR 110.20 (g). The contribution can be “anything of value,” and that includes the sharing of negative information about a political opponent.

Election laws also make it unlawful to “provide substantial assistance in the solicitation, making, acceptance, or receipt of a contribution or donation,” according to 11 CFR 110.20 (h).

The Russian collusion story is going nowhere..and most the Democrat Leadership seem to know that!  (they probably have known it all along and have just milked it for all it is worth and now only the true zealots remain on the "Russia" "Russia" Russia" (like the crybaby little sister on the Brady Bunch) Grin
