Liz Warren sounds fundraising alarm over Kid Rock's potential Senate run

“I do believe if he were to put together an anti-obstructionist, drain-the-swamp kind of message and could articulate four or five positions that drive people, he could potentially be a credible candidate,” said Anuzis.

“It’d be a mistake to write him off.”

After the last 12 months, anything is possible. Having every idiot with a strong opinion and no appropriate skills become a real possibility in every election would be unfortunate, but we seem to be heading to a place where celebrity and/or extreme positions or some combination is valued more than having competence. Part of the failure is the nominating process for the parties guarantees the lunatics run the asylum. The majority of the country is then left trying to sort out the extremists and idiots heaped on them for the election. Meanwhile, the necessity of compromise is marginalized and the country declines.

If Hussein could be elected president, anyone might be elected to anything.  Smiley

What the Hell,  I thought I had seen everything when George Soros was able to buy that clown, Al Fraken his Senate seat!

Stranger things have happened than a rapper turned rock star turned country artist deciding he might try his hand at running for the Senate!

By 2020 the largest group of eligible voters will be the millennials.  The problem with their vote is having them show up at the polls.  I wonder if the candidate himself performing free concerts (who knows, perhaps along with some like minded friends) might get them to come out of their parent's basement and actually vote?

I don't see why not. I mean, we already have Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho sitting in the white house.

I love that movie, and it isn't too far from the truth.

One day I know I'm going to drive down the street in some town and see St. God's Hospital.
