Just wondering.  Did a little searching.  Didn't find much.  Is it dead, dying, licking its wounds, or just hibernating?

They elected a House, a Senate, a presidency, and then went home.

You asked the right guy

Well, being it was like little church splinter groups with no unification, in the end however, most started to endorse candidates which just plays into the broken system

Like a boxer who let his opponent off the ropes and recover and the opponent came back and won.

So in other words, the tea Party became vain Wink Angry

Very much dead

And how did that work out?

Were you one of many who use to brag about that?

So to this day, the tea party congressmen are a minority.  And don't forget we have a progressive as president Roll Eyes

You see Pat, I was NEVER impressed.

You say you like to debate, but on this, you run far away Wink

Pat's a Trumpet.  You won't get a legitimate response.

It's full speed a head for Pat and other Trumpers Grin

Until the day they finally say, "this is not what I voted for" and there's always the next election to look forward to. Roll Eyes

Sorry - I don't accept you as the adjudicator.  Roll Eyes  The tea party was the first, and initially damn near the only, group to revolt against leftwing destruction and RINO complacency.  They triggered the populist movement that eventually led to a republican sweep of the federal government, albeit still with some RINOs - no mass movement ends with perfection.

True... but finish the story Wink

Not in the beginning...  It was about electing conservative(or so called) tea party politicians

Populism is not conservatism?   Hence the progressive and fraud Donald Trump !

You are correct.   Wink

The Tea Party was not (is not) the Astro Turf of George Soros financed "protesters"!  They were Mom's and Pops and often the rest of their families, most of whom had never been involved in politics, because they have been too busy raising their families and living their lives.

The TEA Party (Taxed Enough Already) are not rich people!  As a matter of fact many of the Tea Party people are Senior Citizens living on fixed incomes who no longer pay taxes, but who are concerned about what we saw happening to our country.  The TEA PARTY WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE KIND OF AMERICA WE WILL BE LEAVING TO OUR KIDS AND GRANDKIDS!  It wasn't about Republicans or Democrats; it was about holding our elected officials accountable and not spending beyond our means!

The new face of the grassroots Tea Party are those who represent us in Congress.  The Tea Party will only  need to come together and rise up as we did in 2010, if and when it becomes necessary to prod Washington in the ass again!  Otherwise, it is up to those who now represent us, to influence the outcome of any and all  legislation..and they are doing their job (even if the majority of the Republicans are not!)

You'll probably see more of the Tea Party as we support candidates who share our values and beliefs, in the midterm and the next general election!
