The fact is.......None of their issues have been addressed and never will.

Thought you said they had no issues? That was your premise. Like I said Wadsworth can never discuss anything without changing the subject in midstream. We weren't discussing whether or not they still exist or accomplished anything. Wink

Twice you ducked replying to the questions about your Messiah. Grin

The fact is only a nitwit like you thinks she won a discussion when she moves the goalposts with each successive reply. Wink

Yep only a dope like yourself would be gleeful and happy that "favoring decreased taxes as well as decreased spending by the government" is something that will never get done. Roll Eyes

So you admit that the Tea Party issues were never addressed.  So why are they not still in protest mode?

The Tea Party has decided to give this President a chance ,  unlike those on the left, who would rather see America fail, than see President Trump succeed!

If Trump fails to delver on what he has promised then he will be replaced.  If the reason for such failure is the GOP, then the Tea Party will become active and replace them.

The Democrats are taking themselves out with their foolish OBSTRUCT & RESIST POLICY!

Just wondering.  Did a little searching.  Didn't find much.  Is it dead, dying, licking its wounds, or just hibernating?

The GOP bought them out and took them over.

I think the activities of the Tea Party members in the House (aka "The Freedom Caucus") have demonstrated that they are representing the interests of the Tea Party, while not wanting to be nothing more than OBSTRUCTIONISTS, like the entire DEMOCRAT PARTY!

No doubt, the Tea Party is far stronger in the House than in  the Senate.  We may be able to increase our numbers in the midterms.

The Tea Party is not dead, sleeping or gone away  It has only changed tactics.  Much to the chagrin of the Media and the rest of the Democrats and the Good Old Boys of the GOP, a larger and stronger coalition of Tea Party members of Congress is growing in Congress!

Why do you think the Freedom Caucus is the Tea Party?

All of the members of the Freedom Caucus ran for office with the endorsement of the Tea Party!  This is "what happened to the Tea Party"  and more are being elected every time there is an election. RINO's are primaried and Dems are beat!

There is no Tea Party, how did they endorse anyone? What we do have are about 500 different dudes who had $30 for web hosting and the creativity to come up with a domain name with "tea party" in it. There's no such thing as a Tea Party endorsement today.

There never was any Tea Party Organization (unlike the Astro-Turf groups on the Left).  The Tea Party is a real grass roots movement.  I am on the ballot this fall for a third term as a GOP Committee person; We screen the candidates we will support and have even supported candidate in primaries against incumbant Republicans.  Our Committee is no different than those all over the country, who are supporting candidates who promote the agenda of a smaller, more limited Federal Government, which goes hand in hand with lowering taxes and fiscal responsibility.  There is a ground swell of public support for this and I have no problem getting enough signatures to get on the ballot.  As we become better known, potential candidate shape their messages to gain our endorsement and support.  The Media and the Left have made the label of Tea Party, political poison; so we just call ourselves Americans and promote the Tea Party agenda.  When our candidate stand up for the Tea Pary agenda some of them seek endorsement from national Tea Party PAC's. such as "the Tea Party Express".  That's up to them and how they run their campaigns.  We're only interested in what they say and what they do!

I applaud you for getting involved but this isn't about you. There is no Tea Party. We do however have people who are riding the name like a Filipino prostitute for personal gain.
