Imagine this scenario

Imagine this: You are the campaign manager for a presidential candidate. It is a highly bitter and contentious campaign, and most polls indicate that you are trailing.

One day, you get an e-mail from a Russian lady. Let's call her Nikita Volkoff. She tells you that she has some information that is highly damaging to your candidate's opponent, and the contents of this information could very well mean you win in November.

Do you hear her out? Or do you say, "No, russkie. You are Russian. Go away!"?

Be honest. Smiley

I know what I'd do. I'd check out the information to see what she has. 100 times out of a 100.

That only works for the Republican candidate
The Democrat candidate would sell Russia 20% of Americas uranium then have Russia funnel millions of dollars into a phony foundation and then say the Republican was in cohots with Putin.

Please see my thread about this uranium thingy. I'm curious.

It would certainly be tempting.  But as soon as I found out that she was likely being fed this information from a foreign government, possibly hired to do so, basically a spy, my reasonable and rational side would take charge and say "You know what, this chick is possibly a spy for a foreign government, I should probably stay away from her."  Or I would think "Maybe I can bang her like James Bond does all the time and turn her to the good side"

You definitely wouldn't see an email from me going "Hell to the ya! I'm a retard derp!"

My luck, she'd be hot and I'd have a file... Lips Sealed

I'd want the information and that would carry a lot of weight but as soon as I had any idea it was a foreign government, I'd be terrified it was a sting by my own government and GTFO.

You mean if it's a sting you'll call the police...
