Limits on the first and second amendment...assuming they were included at all.

Freedom of speech- Excluding protesting. 9 times out of ten its useless and only causes more trouble anyway.

Plus you can't say mean stuff about LGBT  Grin

The President would have far more power.

Yes, but especially the government in general.

I don't think he does it to sell book. His latest book debuted at # 1 before it was even actually in the stores.

He believes it will work and even he points out the pitfalls of calling for a CC.

The "watch what you wish for"...was my opinion. Does he expect that liberals and RINOs are going to correct what is wrong in this country?

That's where I think he's naive but he's far more informed on this issue than me and likely anyone being that he is a Constitutional attorney.

Tonight Mark Levin brought up an interesting topic. He said that if the Constitution were scrapped, and our Congress had to create a new Constitution, the new version would be very different from our Founding Fathers' original document.

Do you agree? If so, what would be the biggest differences?

Liberals and socialists would be deported or imprisoned. Maybe worse.

So most of us agree that our Constitution would be very different if our current Congress got to redo it.

What does that say about our politicians? What does it say about us?  Sad

They don't live the 18th century or have sex with slaves?

FYI, the initial constitution allowed slavery, women to be treated like an inferior gender, child labor... etc...

And gay marriage, restricted speech, abortion rights, government overreach are better? I don't think so.

1) - What restricted speech are you talking about?

2) - A right for a woman to decide for herself and gay marriage were overdue improvements. It was either that or getting rid of the whole concept of marriage altogether which is basically a control over two people's personal sex-life, something that shouldn't be anybody's business other than the two people's.

Nor is partaking in the broken political process. That includes presidential elections for ME.  You want to waste your time and gas etc...? that's your choice

That's true. Why do you think why I do what I do on a daily basis?  We already had our revolution so it would be REFORM instead

I know you're not a Trumpster Smiley Wink

But, me and you differ on the whole better than Hillary kind of thing. The worst it gets the better.

Research history

LOL!  Thanks for brightening my day, and it's just a few minutes past 5:00 a.m.  You have withdrawn from the election process.  That's one more vote for my side.  Thank you very much.  In fact, our nation thanks you!   Grin

Do you have any friends you can persuade to join you?  I hate to ask, but you know politics.  Sometimes we gotta do what we gotta do.  Hopefully you gotta not vote and also gotta take people with you.

Now seriously, do you really believe that proves anything that you want to prove?  Who the heck is even going to know or really care and be influenced?
