"We love dreamers" - Donald Trump

Luther, Luther, Luther. Obama stated he could not do something like the so-called "dream act" around 2011. He stated that the matter had to be the response biliary of the legislative branch...congress. He claimed he did not have the power or authority to do it.

Then, lo and behold, a few years later, he established (without that same authority) the dream act.

Now this is where we are: trump merely wants to undo the illicit dream act and have Congress decide whether to make it the law of the land or not. He wants the decision to have a legal foundation.

So, do not give or attempt to give me ANY of your Boulder Scam.

You are 100% correct!  Before his reelection in 2012, Obama told LaRazza that he was not a Dictator or an Emperor and the way our system worked according to our Constitution was that he did not have the power to do what he did with his "pen and his phone" after he was reelected!

This  corruption runs so deep, that most on the Left, now BELIEVE that somehow this unilateral Executive Amnesty Order was constitutional, shows what a corrupt bunch of lying  unAmerican scumbags these people are.  They care noting about the rule of law. our Constitution or our nation!

You know, with Trump's passing of the buck on DACA he's put congressional republicans in the awkward position of having to do the right thing.  Wonder how this new experience will effect them?

President Trump has not "passed the buck".  He has upheld our Immigration Law, which the Court has stated that Obama chose to ignore when he illegally implemented DOCA!

Congress could choose to create Legislation, but Obama had no right to simply use his "pen and his phone" to bypass Congress, our laws and our Constitution!

Wally, perhaps you don't know that "Pass the buck" means to shift the responsibility for something to someone else.

Not only did he pass the buck to congress to decide on DACA, he passed the buck by having Sessions deliver the statement.

Seems like a big talker like Trump (e.g. “Day one, my first hour in office, those people are gone,” "eliminate every unconstitutional executive order") would be embarrassed by his gutlessness.

To quote a poster from another board on the same topic.

"Let's get one thing straight.  DACA is not a law!!!  It is a violation of the US Constitution by the Obama Administration.  In 2012, Obama wanted to create a program that would give children that entered this country illegally a path to citizenship.  When Congress refused to bow to Obama's demand, he enacted DACA through the an Executive Order.  In 2014, Obama attempted to expand the program, and create an additional program called DAPA.  DAPA is a program that would defer action against illegal parents of children that have birthright citizenship or permanent residence status.  Several states sued the Federal Government to block this expansion.  A lower court granted a injunction barring these changes.  The SCOTUS challenge ended in a 4 to 4 vote.  This left the injunction in place."

Much like vilifying him has become right down to the shoes on his wife's feet that clearly were going to be changed when they arrived in TX.

On this issue he happens to be correct.
