Calls to punish global warming skepticism as a criminal offense have surged in the aftermath of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, but it hasn’t discouraged climate scientists like Judith Curry.

Surged?  Indeed, it's gone from 0 to 1.   Grin

BTW, Judith Curry is not one of you denier numbskulls.  She understands and supports the human induced warming explanation of climate change.

Curry's issue is the timing of warming specifically the tipping point at which the warming is irreversible by our efforts to curtail the emission of CO2.  She says it would happen later in this century based on current models.

You're getting away from what the op is really focusing on.
Do you believe climate change skepticism should be a criminal offense?

Of course not, stupid. Why do you keep asking outrageously loaded questions like that?

There's nothing wrong with the question. You apparently didn't read the article or fail to understand it.
The article's main focus has to do with calls to criminalize global climate change skepticism.

Of course not.  At this stage of the climate change debate, climate change skepticism (the notion that humans are in no way responsible) should not be criminalized but instead ridiculed as one would any pseudoscience.

Unless you think that flat Earthers or Geocentrists deserve to also be placed on the same level as actual science.

We can discuss the extents and mitigations of climate change but the cause is known.

There appears to be only one call so far.  Do you really place any validity to the claim?

During the previous election cycle Mitt Romney was hit with just ONE question (form George Stephanooolis, Clinton's former Chief of Staff, turned Fake News creator) about whether he was against Birth Control. This is the question which launched a thousand more loud and any canards in the Media Echo Chamber.  This is how the Left plays their stinking propaganda games!

By the way, did anyone notice how wrong they were in their predictions (forecasts) about how devastating this hurricane was going to be and by comparison to all their hyped up fear mongering, how little damage was done (except maybe for the 1% er's Yachts and roofs and docks  on the sea shore and some trailer parks...

You presumptuous sob, if an article talks about serial killers, will you ask everyone that posts in the thread, if they condemn serial killers? As I said you keep asking loaded questions that looks a lot like accusations but you're too much of a liar to admit it.

He's an imbecile. He keeps asking if people want to criminalize this or that as soon as someone expresses a negative opinion about something.

Yesterday he asked his neighbor if he wanted to criminalize bad weather.
